Divine Favor on a Smiter?
For a direct damage Smiter, does Divine Favor have any real use?
I mean, I've invested some points in it to use Watchful Healing as an emergency heal, but it seems like overall the attribute just takes up space (especially rune space) within this playstyle. |

Spare points you dont need anywere else if you want seed of life...
Or if you run smiters boon (pve) obviously  tho i know its not DIRECT smiting damage.

I dunno, I sometimes like bringing reversal of damage, smite hex or smite condition, and since they do target allies, the DF gives them a nice little boost in addition to dealing damage through them.
If you have no ally-targeting (including self-targeting) smiting skills, and no divine favor skills, then no, there is no reason. Hope this helps. |

Help your party with divine healing or heavens delight, very good party heals. Otherwise use your secondary for them, go /Rt for channeling magic and bring Splinter Weapon/Arage and put it on melee's or minions.

Why would you even want to make a smiter outside maybe Jade Quarry they are completely epic fail. A much better form of damage dealing monk would be Assassins promise + discord if have some necro heroes................

It does help if using Shield of Judgment with Blessed Aura but directly no indirectly yes.
